At the talks, the heads of state emphasized that in recent years the volume of Uzbek-Hungarian trade has grown almost three times.
As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on further building up trade, economic and investment cooperation and the implementation of joint investment projects.
As part of the Uzbek-Hungarian business forum, the Ministers of Agriculture of the two countries signed a number of agreements, including a joint investment project of BMB Trade Group and KITE in the amount of $15 million to create intensive gardens in the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region, as well as further processing of fruits and vegetables.
For information, the KITE company, founded in 1975, is a leading supplier of agricultural equipment and a developer of technologies for the efficient cultivation of agricultural products. It has 25 branches across the country with 1.7 thousand employees. Included in the top 30 largest companies in Hungary. In the near future, a delegation of the company “KITE” will visit the Jizzakh region for further elaboration of the agreements reached.
