BMB Trade Group took part in the Uzbek-Hungarian business forum

On November 10 this year, on the sidelines of the summit of the Organization of Turkic States in the city of Samarkand, a meeting was held between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán. During the talks, the parties discussed issues of practical cooperation in the economic sphere – the creation of financial mechanisms and favorable conditions for the implementation of joint investment projects.

As part of the Uzbek-Hungarian business forum held on the same day, held in the city of Samarkand, Uzbek entrepreneurs held talks in the “B2B” and “G2B” formats with representatives of more than 60 Hungarian companies, headed by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Affairs of Hungary Péter Szijjártó.

It should be noted that among the agreements signed in October by the ministers of agriculture of the two countries, one can note the agreements between BMB Trade Group and the Hungarian company “KITE” on the implementation of a joint investment project to create intensive orchards in the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region, as well as the processing of fruits and vegetables .

At today’s Uzbek-Hungarian business forum, regular negotiations were held with KITE, and prospects for cooperation with Continest Zrt and Urbán Édesipari Kft were discussed.

Within the framework of this cooperation, it is envisaged to attract foreign investments and modern technologies to the national economy, supply high-quality, processed fruits and vegetables to European markets.

In general, joint projects implemented with Hungarian partners will serve to further expand the promising cooperation between Hungary and Uzbekistan.
