November 18 this year regular online negotiations between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB Trade Group Bekzod Mamatkulov and the General Director of the Spanish company AZAFRAN DESBRIN Carlos Fernandez took place.
Recall that during the visit of the BMB Trade Group delegation to Spain on October 28, 2022, AZAFRAN DESBRIN showed interest in saffron products grown in Uzbekistan as a raw material used in the pharmaceutical industry.
At the same time, in the course of online negotiations with Nathan Barrett, CEO of American Spice Company, discussions were held on the supply of natural saffron to the US market.
In general, the parties discussed the prospects for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation based on exclusive agreements for the export of 1.8 tons of saffron to Spain and 2.1 tons to the United States market.
