An Uzbek-Italian business forum is planned to be held in Rome on the eve of the visit.
The priorities of the official visit are the consideration of such topical issues as further expansion of business cooperation with representatives of leading Italian companies.
For information, Uzbekistan joined the European Union’s GSP+ program in April 2021. Based on this, more than six thousand products can be exported to the European Union without duty.
Italy is one of the main partner countries in the European Union. Also, political, humanitarian, cultural, economic, trade and investment projects are expected to be discussed at the meetings.
