Briefly about the main events of the week

▪️ On December 19, at BMB Holding, a dialogue took place via video conferencing between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company B. Mamatkulov and the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Poland A. Agzamkhodzhaev.

During the online conversation, its participants discussed pressing issues related to organizing supplies to Europe, including to the Polish market, of various export-oriented agricultural products grown and processed by enterprises and clusters that are part of the BMB Holding company. Other promising projects for establishing business contacts with Polish businessmen were also discussed.

▪️ On December 19, at BMB Holding, a dialogue took place via video conferencing between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company B. Mamatkulov and the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Kingdom of Sweden N. Ganiev.

It is known that saffron products are widely used in the cosmetology, confectionery and pharmaceutical industries of this Scandinavian country. Therefore, during the conversation, it was noted that the export to Sweden of this medicinal plant, which is grown and deeply processed in the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region, will serve to open new markets for its sales.

▪️ On December 20, at BMB Holding, via video conferencing, a dialogue took place between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company B. Mamatkulov and the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Germany D. Akhatov.

The head of the embassy, noting BMB Holding as a major manufacturer of the agro-industrial complex, offered to take part with its exposition on the sidelines of the Green Week exhibition, which traditionally will be held in January next year in Berlin.

Undoubtedly, this will serve to establish new connections at the international level, and various export-oriented agricultural products grown and deeply processed by the company’s enterprises and clusters will take their rightful place not only in the German, but also in the European markets.

▪️ On December 22, at BMB Holding, a dialogue took place via video conferencing between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company B. Mamatkulov and the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Kingdom of Belgium G. Fozilov.

If we talk about Belgium, then in Western Europe there are two more developed countries that are members of the international economic and customs organization called Benelux – the Netherlands and Luxembourg. This, in turn, means three new and promising consumer markets with common criteria, needs and requirements.

Also, during the dialogue, issues related to increasing the export potential of Uzbekistan by establishing exports to the Belgian market of various agricultural products and dried fruits, jams and juices produced by enterprises and clusters of the holding were discussed in detail.

▪️ On December 22, a working meeting was held at BMB Holding between 1st Deputy General Director M. Usmanov and a delegation headed by the head of the department of the Ministry of Trade of Indonesia, Arif Vibinoso.

In turn, the guests reported that representatives of the business community of this country are interested in establishing direct business ties with Uzbek colleagues, in particular in the field of agriculture.

A proposal was put forward to create a Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan – Indonesia.
