Highly processed products of Uzbekistan, dried fruits and legumes will be delivered to Switzerland
As you know, at the end of November last year, a meeting with Swiss businessmen took place at the head office of BMB Holding in Tashkent. As a logical continuation of this cooperation, on January 30 of this year, another mutually beneficial meeting was organized in Geneva with the management of the Swiss companies NC Vertatur GmbH and Maestral AG.
Maestral AG has been successfully operating since 1992 as one of the largest companies supplying central retail chains in Switzerland and Southern Europe with its products.
At the beginning of the dialogue, Swiss businessmen were informed in detail about the activities of BMB HOLDING, a presentation of large-scale production and export-oriented investment programs implemented in key sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan. In particular, they were provided with detailed information about the company’s major projects in the cultivation, storage and export of saffron, as well as the production and deep processing of fruits and vegetables.
At the meeting, close cooperation in these areas, logistics issues, export of highly processed products with added value, dried fruits, and leguminous products to European countries, especially Switzerland, were discussed. An agreement was reached to continue work in this direction in our country.
