Trade and partnership relations with Poland are strengthening

2007–2012 – Deputy of the Council of the Republic of Poland (two terms);
2012-2016 – Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy;
2012-2016 – member of the National Security Council of the Republic of Poland;
from 2016 to the present – founder and president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
since 2017 – works as an adviser on economics and foreign trade to the Cabinet of Ministers of Poland.”
During the negotiations, it was noted that trade and economic cooperation between the business circles of the two countries has become significantly more active.
As noted, the Republic of Poland is one of the important partners of Uzbekistan in Europe. It should be noted that an important role in cooperation in the trade and economic sphere is played by the issue of supply of agricultural products, legumes, dried fruits and vegetables, highly processed products, especially medicinal saffron, through the creation of a “Hub” in Poland.
There was also a meeting with Marek Merzes, member of the board of directors of EWABIS in Warsaw. This “EWABIS” is one of the largest export-import companies in Poland. EWABIS’s turnover exceeds 100 million euros. It contacts 75 countries around the world. Exports 70 thousand tons of products, trades in industrial equipment and technologies.
During the dialogue, issues of expanding the geography of exports of products grown and deeply processed by the BMB Holding together with this company were discussed.
