Negotiations were held with Italian partners
As it is known, the working visit of the BMB Holding delegation to European countries is continuing during these days. On January 31 of this year, a regular meeting was held between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB Holding Bekzod Mamatkulov, the President of the Italian company Fininvest Paolo Berlusconi and the President of HT HOLDING Roberto Tucci, in Geneva. At the beginning of the meeting, the parties exchanged views on joint projects.
In particular, attention was paid to ensuring the implementation of the agreements, signed during the official visit of President of Uzbekistan to Italy in June 2023. The issues of bringing the quality of the product to a new level and further increasing its volumes in a joint venture in Italy and in Jizzakh region, growing saffron, expanding processing volumes and further expanding exports to European countries and the US markets, in particular, were considered.
The construction of a production enterprise in the Bakhmal district of Jizzakh region this year was discussed.
In addition, it was noted that the fact that BMB Za’faron is USDA Organic certified will cause good growth in demand in the global market.
Taking this into account, it was decided to expand saffron plantations and introduce innovations with the involvement of strong specialists.
Thus, the next working visit of the holding delegation to Europe ended.
