The draw for the 2024 Futsal World Cup, which will be held in Uzbekistan, was held
In recent years, our country has been taking great steps to host prestigious international football and futsal competitions. It is noteworthy that FIFA’s trust in Uzbekistan in hosting the World Futsal Championship in 2024 was the result of extensive work on this issue.
Three unique cities were chosen as the venue for the decisive meetings of the World Futsal World Cup – the capital city of Tashkent, located at the intersection of the ancient Silk Road Bukhara and the pearl of the Ferghana Valley, Andijan.
On May 26 of this year, the official draw ceremony for the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup took place in Samarkand. This international event was attended by representatives of foreign and 
domestic media, experts, veterans and officials who made a worthy contribution to the development of the industry, in particular, Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING, member of the Executive Committee of the Football Association of Uzbekistan.
According to the results of the draw, Uzbekistan, along with the Netherlands, Paraguay, and Costa Rica, received a place in Group A.
