As you may know, the BMB HOLDING delegation currently in Europe is not only conducting business meetings but also actively participating in socio-cultural events.
Specifically, on January 31 of this year, a collection of books was gifted to the Uzbek National Cultural Center, operating under the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Sweden. The collection includes works of Uzbek classical and modern literature by authors such as Alisher Navoi, Abdulla Kadiri, Cholpon, Gafur Gulom, Oybek, Erkin Vohidov and Abdulla Oripov, as well as scientific research works on the history, national culture, and spiritual heritage of Uzbekistan.
These books are significant as they contribute to introducing our national culture, history, and literature to the Uzbek diaspora living in Sweden and the local population, while also helping to preserve the Uzbek language and literature. Moreover, they serve as an important resource for students.
The book presentation ceremony was attended by Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING, Rahmatulla Nurimbetov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Sweden, Zilola Yulchieva, Head of the Cultural Center, and staff members.
During the event, emphasis was placed on the importance of increasing various cultural and educational projects to highlight the deep roots of Uzbek literature, its place in world cultural heritage, promoting it widely on the global stage, strengthening national identity, and increasing interest in the country’s culture.
This event marked another important step in strengthening international cultural cooperation. The holding delegation concluded its visit to Sweden and departed for Germany.
