On April 14 of this year, a video conference was held between Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING, and Arman Shakkaliyev, Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Issues of further developing cooperation in trade, economic, and agricultural spheres were discussed.

The discussions primarily focused on ensuring the implementation of agreements reached during the meeting on March 15 of this year and identifying new aspects of cooperation.

Mechanisms for increasing the volume of high-quality agricultural products supplied by the Holding’s enterprises to the Kazakh market were also considered, with the effective use of capabilities of the Kazakh joint-stock company “QazTrade” for delivering products to wholesale distribution networks.

Additionally, to support Kazakhstan’s efforts in ensuring food security, the possibilities of supplying Holding products to the country’s food reserve were discussed. It was emphasized that cooperation in this area would contribute positively not only to increasing bilateral trade but also to regional food stability.

To further expand cooperation, the parties also considered the issue of establishing a modern trade and logistics “Hub” in collaboration with Kazakh businessmen. This “Hub” is expected to facilitate the entry of Uzbek products into other markets through Kazakhstan, as well as strengthen ties between entrepreneurs of the two countries.

Following the productive and businesslike online meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a working visit of the Uzbek delegation to Kazakhstan in the third ten-day period of April and to sign export-import contracts.
