On July 29 of this year, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING, Bekzod Mamatkulov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Uzbekistan, Piergabrielle Papadia de Bottini.
During the talks, the parties discussed promising joint projects being implemented in Uzbekistan with the participation of Italian entrepreneurs, particularly in the agro-industrial sector, as well as new opportunities for further development of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
It is worth noting that on July 9 of this year, with the support of the Italian Embassy in Uzbekistan, negotiations were held with Patrick Ungaro, Executive Director of the Italian company Bonifiche Ferraresi.
As a logical continuation of the agreements previously reached, the sides thoroughly discussed new initiatives focused on the processing of agricultural products grown and deeply processed in Uzbekistan, and their delivery to the Italian market.
During the meeting, the founder of the Holding, Bekzod Mamatkulov, shared plans for implementing joint investment projects in Uzbekistan, including the establishment of intensive cherry orchards and almond plantations, doubling existing deep processing capacities, and exporting high-quality finished products.
In turn, Mr. Piergabrielle Papadia de Bottini expressed hope that the initiatives discussed would further strengthen and expand large-scale cooperation between the business communities of Uzbekistan and Italy.
