On October 7 of this year, a meeting was held between Khayrulla Nabijonov, Deputy General Director of BMB HOLDING, and Dastan Niyazaliev, Trade and Economic Affairs Advisor at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
 
The meeting focused on priority areas for further developing trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, increasing export volumes, and expanding cooperation in tourism, investment, and sports.
 
During the high-level talks held in Cholpon-Ata on July 30, 2026, it was noted that bilateral trade turnover increased nearly tenfold in 2025, reaching $1.2 billion. The goal of increasing this figure to $3 billion in the near term creates new opportunities for further strengthening cooperation between the business communities of the two countries.
 
In this context, the parties discussed opportunities to introduce BMB HOLDING’s products to the Kyrgyz market, establish direct cooperation with local buyers and distributors, and export agricultural and deep-processed products stored at the Holding’s facilities in line with market demand.
 
In the tourism sector, agreements were reached to establish direct contacts with tour operators, tourism companies, and DMC organizations in Kyrgyzstan, as well as to provide them with information about ZA’FARON PREMIUM HOTEL properties, commercial proposals, and terms of cooperation. The strong potential of this area is reflected in the fact that more than 2.52 million visitors from Kyrgyzstan travelled to Uzbekistan in January-August 2026.
 
Particular attention was also given to sports cooperation and the activities of Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Founders Board of BMB HOLDING, in his capacity as President of the Uzbekistan Futsal Federation. The parties discussed opportunities for exchanging expertise in sports, organizing joint events and training camps, as well as promoting sports tourism.
 
In the investment sector, the parties considered identifying potential investors in Kyrgyzstan, presenting them with BMB HOLDING’s promising projects, and developing new cooperation initiatives. The effective use of the opportunities offered by the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund was identified as one of the key areas of cooperation.
 
Following the meeting, which held in a constructive and business-oriented atmosphere, the parties reached agreements on organizing and developing programmes for a number of practical visits aimed at further strengthening cooperation. In particular, plans were made to organize a visit by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan to BMB HOLDING’s enterprises in Jizzakh Region, as well as a visit by BMB HOLDING’s management to Bishkek.
