On July 30 of this year, a meeting was held between the Deputy General Director of BMB HOLDING Sardorbek Rozukulov and the CEO of Tamam Capital (part of the Qatari company Tamam International), Dr. Murod Ali.
At the beginning of the talks, detailed information was provided about the export potential of the companies within the Holding, particularly regarding the cultivation of natural saffron and other types of agricultural products.
The parties discussed the prospects of jointly exporting saffron and saffron-based products to Qatar, providing consulting services to Tamam International in Uzbekistan, as well as opportunities for cultivating agricultural crops in the country that are in high demand in Qatar.
These issues sparked significant interest from the Qatari side, and as a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached on establishing mutually beneficial cooperation.
On the same day, another productive meeting took place, attended by the Advisor to the Chairman of the Supervisory Board Anvar Muminov, and the CEO of Arabian Industries (Sultanate of Oman), Amer Suleimani.
The guests from Oman were provided with detailed information about the Holding’s production capacities and its export potential.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the export of saffron and saffron-based products to the Sultanate of Oman, implementation of mutually beneficial projects in Uzbekistan, investment attraction, cooperation in the HoReCa sector, and increasing the tourism potential of the country.
Both meetings, held at the Holding’s head office, were aimed at strengthening economic ties between Uzbekistan, Qatar, and Oman, and will contribute to the further improvement of the investment climate in our country.
