On October 7 of this year, a meeting took place between the Chairman of the Supervisory board of BMB HOLDING, Bekzod Mamatkulov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to our country, Manfred Huterer.
At the beginning of the conversation, it was noted with satisfaction that the volume of agricultural products grown and deeply processed by the Holding’s enterprises and exported to the German market is steadily increasing.
In particular, it was emphasized that the recently launched export of deeply processed carrots and dried pumpkin – grown in the fields of the Jizzakh region – to German markets within the framework of this cooperation contributes to the further expansion of foreign economic relations between the two countries. This, in turn, creates new opportunities for increasing the Holding’s export potential and attracting low-interest foreign loans into the national economy.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed in detail matters related to further expanding the Holding’s cooperation with German companies, as well as establishing new partnerships aimed at implementing promising trade, economic, and export-oriented projects.
In addition, Mr. Manfred Huterer expressed his readiness to assist in organizing meetings with the heads of major German companies during the upcoming working visit of the delegation led by chairman of the Supervisory Board Bekzod Mamatkulov to Europe, particularly to Germany, with the goal of effectively implementing new trade, investment, and export initiatives.
Overall, the meeting was held in a constructive and businesslike atmosphere, and it was particularly noted that the agreements reached will make a significant contribution to the further development of cooperation between New Uzbekistan and Germany.
