As part of a working visit to European countries, on October 29 of this year, a meeting was held in London between Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING, and Ravshan Usmanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Kingdom.
At the beginning of the meeting, it was noted with satisfaction that in recent years, trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom have been developing dynamically, creating broad opportunities for the implementation of new joint investment and export projects.
During the talks, it was emphasized that the demand for agricultural products grown and deeply processed by BMB HOLDING enterprises continues to increase in global markets. It was also noted that the joint investment projects implemented by the Holding contribute to the further enhancement of Uzbekistan’s export potential.
In addition, the meeting discussed prospects for exporting natural saffron and deeply processed agricultural products produced by BMB HOLDING enterprises under the BMB Za’faron brand to the UK market.
Following the meeting, which was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, the parties agreed, with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United Kingdom, to organize a series of meetings between BMB HOLDING and several reputable British companies with the aim of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation, implementing joint export and investment projects, and introducing modern technologies into Uzbekistan’s economy.
