EXPANDING THE HORIZONS OF COOPERATION WITH THE NETHERLANDS

On March 25 of this year, a meeting was held between Khayrulla Nabijonov, Deputy General Director of BMB HOLDING, and Alfred Evers, Coordinator of Netherlands Fruit Solutions Uzbekistan.

At the beginning of the meeting, it was emphasized that the visit of a delegation of major Dutch agricultural entrepreneurs, led by Alfred Evers, to the enterprises within the BMB HOLDING system on March 23 of the current year was organized at a high level.

In particular, during the visit, the guests thoroughly acquainted with the activities of BMB AGRO PLUS and BMB NRC AGROLOGISTICS, including their production capacities and modern processing technologies.

The parties also noted that this visit created a solid foundation for further strengthening mutual trust and mutually beneficial cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, as well as for the implementation of new projects in the agricultural sector.

During the negotiations, discussions focused on the rational and efficient use of water resources in crop cultivation, as well as the introduction of advanced agrotechnologies aimed at reducing water consumption without compromising crop yields. In addition, the parties exchanged views on sharing experience in agricultural production, adopting advanced international practices, and implementing innovative approaches in the sector.

Following the meeting, the Dutch side invited representatives of BMB HOLDING to visit the Netherlands at the end of May of the current year to gain firsthand insight into modern agrotechnologies and production processes.

Overall, the negotiations are expected to elevate bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector to a new level, expand international exchange of expertise, and facilitate the implementation of joint investment projects in the agro-industrial complex.
