B2B MEETINGS HELD WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE INDIA-UZBEKISTAN BUSINESS FORUM

As previously reported, on August 3 of this year, a series of bilateral B2B meetings between representatives of the business communities of India and Uzbekistan was held as part of the India-Uzbekistan Business Forum in the capital of India.

During the forum’s plenary session, India’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, called on the business communities of both countries to strengthen cooperation based on the principle of “co-invest, co-manufacture, and co-innovate.” He also announced the shared objective of doubling bilateral trade between India and Uzbekistan over the next three years. Priority areas for cooperation identified during the forum included pharmaceuticals, the agro-industrial sector, the food industry, digital technologies, textiles, engineering, and logistics.

As a continuation of the forum’s business agenda, Bobir Yakhyayev, Director of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations of BMB HOLDING, held a series of B2B meetings with executives of MG Biological Pvt. Ltd., SANHIT VENTURES, Farmer Trackparts, Nick and Associates LLP, APEXX PHARMA, PRIDETOOLS, Alphanso, Unitech Engineers, Digital Surveillance, and Rager Rain Plus.

During the meetings, the parties held comprehensive discussions on expanding trade and economic cooperation, implementing joint investment projects, promoting the export of high value-added products, introducing advanced technologies, and establishing long-term mutually beneficial partnerships.

The outcomes of the India-Uzbekistan Business Forum have created a solid foundation for further expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation, strengthening investment partnerships, and elevating practical collaboration between the private sectors of the two countries to a new level.
