On April 7 of this year, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING, Bekzod Mamatqulov, and the head of the leading Chinese logistics company YTO Express, Yu Weijiao, with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the People’s Republic of China.
During the meeting, information was provided on BMB HOLDING’s areas of activity, its ongoing major projects, and the Holding’s capabilities in the international arena. The main focus was on investment projects planned to be implemented in Uzbekistan.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed issues of further deepening mutually beneficial cooperation, especially strengthening trade and economic ties, deep processing of agricultural products and their delivery to Chinese markets.
For reference: YTO Express was established in 2000, and today the company operates extensively not only in logistics but also in technology, aviation, finance, and trade sectors. This company, considered one of the largest logistics operators in China, has an annual turnover of more than 15 billion US dollars.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized their readiness to expand cooperation in strategically important areas and implement new projects in promising directions.
