On May 13 of this year, a meeting took place at the Head Office of BMB HOLDING between the Chairman of the Holding’s Supervisory Board, Bekzod Mamatkulov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Manfred Huterer.
At the beginning of the meeting, the distinguished guest was briefed on the Holding’s activities, types of products grown and processed, their quality indicators, export opportunities of the enterprises within the system, as well as recent achievements in tourism and services.
During the conversation, the Ambassador highly commended the Holding’s established cooperation with major German companies such as Mangold Consulting and BREITZMANN Edelmetalle & Diamanten, emphasizing the mutual interest in further expanding collaboration.
The discussion highlighted the need to effectively leverage complementary aspects such as Germany’s potential in industry and advanced technologies, alongside Uzbekistan’s existing production capacities and logistics infrastructure. In this context, they explored prospects for establishing mutually beneficial projects in industrial cooperation, transfer of innovative technologies, and increasing exports of deeply processed agricultural products to Europe.
Additionally, as part of the meeting, the German Ambassador familiarized himself with the showroom and museum showcasing samples of high value-added products manufactured and processed using the latest technologies by enterprises within the Holding system.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Ambassador invited Mr. B. Mamatkulov to attend the Business Council meeting scheduled for June of this year in Düsseldorf, Germany. They agreed to expand trade and economic ties with German entrepreneurs through business events, as well as to collaborate with German clinics in training staff for the medical center expected to be built in the Jizzakh region.
