On October 21 of this year, within the framework of a business visit to European countries, a meeting took place in Milan, Italy, between Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the supervisory board of BMB HOLDING, and Roberto Tucci, President of HT HOLDING.

At the beginning of the talks, both parties expressed satisfaction with the steady development of mutually beneficial bilateral partnership relations in recent years. In particular, it was emphasized that a joint investment project aimed at cultivating, processing, and exporting natural medicinal saffron is being successfully implemented in the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region.

Roberto Tucci, in turn, highly appreciated the recent expansion of the saffron plantations to 820 hectares.

As noted by Bekzod Mamatkulov, consistent and large-scale efforts are underway within the framework of the project to increase the plantation area to 2,000 hectares by the end of 2027.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties outlined further plans to expand the export geography of BMB Za’faron products and to boost the operations of the ORO ROSSO MILANO joint venture by increasing the production volumes of saffron-based products.
