On November 21 of this year, an online meeting was held between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING, Bekzod Mamatkulov, and the President of the Italian company BERLUSCONI FINANZIARIA, Paolo Berlusconi.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed priority issues aimed at further expanding joint projects, increasing their efficiency, and implementing new promising areas of cooperation.
In particular, key topics included the implementation of a joint project in the energy sector, the introduction of modern and advanced technologies to launch new initiatives in this area, as well as expanding the production of high value-added saffron-based products, broadening export geography, and increasing export volumes.
The parties also exchanged views on the development of football and futsal in our country, the improvement of sports infrastructure in line with modern standards, and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation through the exchange of experience.
During the dialogue, opportunities for developing several new joint projects were discussed, and practical steps were identified to further strengthen the strategic partnership in these sports.
Overall, the discussions addressed prospects for implementing new joint projects in such priority sectors of the economy as agriculture, energy, and sports, and concrete practical measures were agreed upon to elevate the strategic cooperation between the two countries to a new level.
At the end of the negotiations, Paolo Berlusconi invited Bekzod Mamatkulov to visit Italy, while the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING, in turn, invited his counterpart to Uzbekistan for a working visit.
