On March 6-7 of this year, the Director of BMB IMPEX, Khurshid Isakov, held a series of negotiations with representatives of major trading companies in the city of Almaty as part of a working visit.

In particular, a meeting took place with Aydyn Dadaev, Commercial Director of the company “Lion Fruits”. The company is a subsidiary of the largest retail chain in Kazakhstan, Magnum, through which a significant share of vegetables, fruits and dried fruits is supplied to the country’s domestic market.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for expanding trade and economic cooperation and reached an agreement on the supply of seasonal fruit and vegetable products from Uzbekistan. It was especially noted that Uzbek fruits and vegetables have strong export potential and enjoy stable demand in the Kazakh market.

In addition, during the visit the head of BMB IMPEX held a meeting with Maidan Zhorabaev, a representative of the administration of the largest food market “Altyn Orda”. 

During the meeting, issues related to further increasing the volume of Uzbek fruit and vegetable exports to the markets of Kazakhstan were discussed.

Following the visit, the parties expressed mutual interest in developing mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at strengthening trade relations and expanding the presence of high-quality fruit and vegetable products from Uzbekistan in the markets of Kazakhstan.
