On February 2 of this year, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Indonesia, Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Founders Board of BMB HOLDING, held negotiations in Jakarta with Adhi Lukman, Chairman of the Indonesian Food and Beverage Industry Association, as well as Wiyanto Alamsyah, President of Arena Group Andalan and one of the country’s leading entrepreneurs.
For reference, the Indonesian Food and Beverage Industry Association brings together approximately 400 companies operating in the sector and focuses on improving industry standards and quality control systems, as well as on developing cooperation with international organizations and business partners.
Arena Agro Andalan is one of the leading companies in Southeast Asia in the field of food ingredient production and has production capacities for processing more than 500,000 tons of various agricultural products annually.
During the meeting, the parties thoroughly discussed the implementation of promising joint investment projects in Uzbekistan, the expansion of cooperation in the processing of agricultural products, and the establishment of mutually beneficial trade and economic relations.
In addition, taking into account the existing potential for bilateral cooperation and the current global and regional economic environment, the sides exchanged views on identifying new areas of interaction and developing mechanisms for their practical implementation based on the capabilities and expertise of companies from both countries.
Following the meeting, which was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, Bekzod Mamatkulov invited the Indonesian partners to visit Uzbekistan in order to develop practical measures for the implementation of the discussed joint projects.
