On February 2 of this year, meeting was held in Jakarta with the participation of Oybek Eshonov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Indonesia, involving Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Founders Board of BMB HOLDING, Jay Abdullah Alatas, Head of the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Committee for Cooperation with Uzbekistan, Hungary, and Croatia, and Farhan Maendri, President of Vortech Corp FZCO.
For reference, the company managed by Jay Abdullah Alatas is the owner of the Le Grande Plaza Hotel in Tashkent.
During the discussions, the parties considered the implementation of joint investment projects in promising sectors of the economy aimed at further improving the investment climate in Uzbekistan.
In particular, initiatives to open a branch of the BMB Za’faron Premium restaurant in Jakarta, as well as to establish a joint venture for the production of instant food products in the Jizzakh region, were thoroughly discussed.
In addition, the parties explored opportunities to establish cooperation in the supply of in-demand products to the markets of both countries.
In turn, the Indonesian partner expressed strong interest in BMB HOLDING’s experience in the deep processing of agricultural products using innovative approaches and conveyed readiness to send company specialists to Uzbekistan for knowledge and expertise exchange.
As a result of the meeting, which was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, Bekzod Mamatkulov invited Indonesian entrepreneurs to Uzbekistan with the aim of establishing mutually beneficial and sustainable cooperation in the discussed areas.
