FURTHER TALKS HELD WITH AGROTEC PRESIDENT BORIS KANDOV

On February 27 of this year, a meeting was held in Tashkent between Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Founders Board of BMB HOLDING, and Boris Kandov, President of AGROTEC (Austria).

In January this year, as part of a working visit by the BMB HOLDING delegation to European countries, Bekzod Mamatkulov and Boris Kandov met in Vienna, where they reached agreements on a number of important strategic issues.

During the latest round of talks, the parties expressed satisfaction with the consistent development of trade and economic cooperation and the steady growth in bilateral trade between Uzbekistan and Austria.

In addition, the negotiations focused on the development of our country’s agricultural sector, particularly on expanding the activities of agro-cluster projects through the attraction of foreign investment, further increasing export volumes to European markets, and enhancing the operations of the joint Austrian–Uzbek enterprise AGROINVEST. Special emphasis was placed on the need to unlock the company’s full potential through the broad adoption of modern technologies.

The issues discussed during the meeting provide a solid foundation for strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between the business communities of Uzbekistan and Austria, expanding trade and economic ties, and further improving the investment climate in the country.
