On July 3, representatives of BMB HOLDING held a meeting with Mr. Guo Song and Mr. Tong Zhenji, executives of Guizhou Mingcheng Agricultural Commercial Tourism Investment and Development Co., Ltd. and Guizhou Beicheng Business Services Co., Ltd.
At the outset of the meeting, both sides emphasized the steady development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China, noting that bilateral trade, investment, and business cooperation continues to reach new heights.
During the discussions, the Chinese delegation was presented with detailed information on the large-scale economic reforms being implemented in New Uzbekistan, the ongoing efforts to further improve the country’s investment climate, and the major projects carried out by BMB HOLDING in the fields of agribusiness, food production, export and import operations, logistics, tourism, and services.
Particular attention was given to opportunities for expanding cooperation in the tourism sector. The parties discussed prospects for increasing the flow of Chinese tourists to Uzbekistan, as well as organizing familiarization tours and joint cultural events at the Za’faron Premium Hotel complexes located in the Bostanlik and Zaamin districts.
The Chinese delegation also visited the BMB HOLDING showroom, where they were introduced to the company’s export-oriented product portfolio. The guests highly appreciated the quality, competitiveness, and international market potential of the products on display. Special interest was expressed in BMB HOLDING’s saffron products. The parties thoroughly discussed the prospects for exporting Uzbek saffron to the Chinese market, as well as opportunities to implement joint projects for the production of saffron tea in cooperation with partners from Guizhou and Yunnan provinces.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening direct ties between the business communities of Uzbekistan and China, implementing joint investment and export projects, and further expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
