On 22 July, business negotiations and B2B meetings were held in Tashkent as part of the Investment and Trade Cooperation Promotion Meeting, organized at the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event brought together representatives of the delegation from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China.

The meeting was aimed at expanding trade, economic, investment, and technological cooperation between the business communities of Uzbekistan and China, while also identifying new avenues for mutually beneficial partnership.

During the event, negotiations were conducted with representatives of companies from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region operating in the fields of agriculture, livestock farming, transport and logistics, biotechnology, the food industry, and intelligent technologies.

Bobir Yakhyaev, Director of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations at BMB HOLDING, presented the Holding’s ongoing projects focused on the development of the agro-industrial sector, cultivation and processing of agricultural products, strengthening food security, expanding export capacity, and introducing modern technologies.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the development of agricultural clusters, the implementation of advanced agricultural technologies, the exchange of expertise in livestock farming, the application of biotechnological solutions, the enhancement of production efficiency through digital technologies, and the manufacturing of high value-added products.

Particular attention was paid to ensuring environmental sustainability in agriculture, promoting the rational use of land resources, introducing water-saving technologies, and studying China’s advanced experience in combating desertification.

It was noted that the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is one of China’s key economic regions, possessing extensive expertise in agriculture, livestock farming, the food industry, and advanced technologies. Strengthening cooperation with this region is expected to play an important role in modernizing Uzbekistan’s agro-industrial sector, attracting innovative technologies, and expanding investment opportunities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue their constructive dialogue, jointly develop priority areas of cooperation, and implement mutually beneficial joint projects.
