On November 6 of this year, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING, Bekzod Mamatkulov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Uzbekistan, Mr. Viktor Borecký.
At the beginning of the meeting, it was noted that relations between Uzbekistan and Slovakia have been steadily developing year by year. As a result of a dialogue based on mutual trust, the trade, economic, and investment climate in Uzbekistan has improved, and the scope of foreign trade relations has expanded.
The Ambassador was then provided with detailed information about the projects implemented in the investment, export, and trade sectors in recent years.
Mr. Borecký also stated that, considering the growing global interest in the products manufactured by BMB HOLDING, he would assist in establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with the heads of several agro-industrial holdings specializing in agricultural production.
He expressed readiness to provide practical support in promoting and supplying Uzbekistan’s manufactured and processed goods-including national products under the BMB Za’faron brand-to the Slovak market. In addition, the Ambassador expressed his willingness to assist in arranging meetings with major investors in Slovakia and to foster cooperation in the fields of futsal and tourism.
Overall, the meeting was held in a constructive and businesslike atmosphere, and both parties emphasized that the agreements reached would make a valuable contribution to the further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia.
