On February 24 of this year, a meeting was held between Abbosbek Makhammadjanov, Head of the International Relations Department of BMB HOLDING, and Nuh Tashinma, Head of the Turkish company Pruva.
At the beginning of the meeting, the guests were provided with detailed information about the Holding’s key areas of activity, as well as the infrastructure established by its enterprises and the existing capabilities for the cultivation, processing, storage, and supply of agricultural products to international markets.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the agro-industrial sector, placing particular emphasis on deep processing of fruit and vegetable products, modern packaging methods, storage in compliance with international standards, and export operations.
For reference, Pruva specializes in the sorting, packaging, and export of fresh and processed fruits to European markets. During the meeting, the Turkish side expressed strong interest in frozen, dried, and fresh fruit and vegetable products processed by the Holding’s enterprises. The parties also discussed increasing export volumes of these products, establishing an efficient logistics chain, and developing long-term cooperation.
In addition, the sides considered the possibility of establishing a modern joint production facility in Uzbekistan specializing in the packaging of fresh and processed fruits. The discussions also focused on attracting investment and organizing production in accordance with European quality standards.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to define specific practical steps for implementing mutually beneficial cooperation at the next stage of interaction.
