On September 8, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the State of Kuwait, Bobir Yahyaev, Director of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations at BMB HOLDING, held negotiations via videoconference with Mahmoud Al-Qurayshi, Head Manager of the Kuwaiti company Ariana Advanced General Trading & Contracting.
The parties discussed ways to expand Uzbekistan-Kuwait trade and economic cooperation, facilitate the entry of Uzbek products into the Kuwaiti market, and strengthen direct business ties between entrepreneurs from the two countries.
Mahmoud Al-Qurayshi was provided with detailed information on BMB HOLDING’s investment and export potential, its experience in international markets, and its projects in agribusiness, processing, logistics, and tourism, as well as the Holding’s integrated export system covering the entire value chain – from cultivation and processing to sorting, packaging, and delivery of finished products to international markets.
One of the key areas of the negotiations was the establishment of exports of dried fruits and pulses from Uzbekistan to Kuwait. The Kuwaiti side expressed interest in purchasing raisins, dried apricots, prunes, figs, and other dried fruits, as well as pulses grown in Uzbekistan.
Following the constructive online negotiations, the parties discussed product categories, quality requirements, packaging, supply volumes, and logistics conditions, and agreed to continue working on the formation and delivery of an initial export shipment to the Kuwaiti market.
