On June 18, a meeting was held between the Commercial Director of BMB HOLDING, Bekzod Yuldoshev, and Iranian business representatives with the participation of officials from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Uzbekistan.
During the discussions, the parties reviewed prospects for further strengthening trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Iran, increasing bilateral trade turnover, and expanding exports of agricultural products.
It was also emphasized that the friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Iran have been steadily developing in recent years, while cooperation in trade, investment, transport and logistics, tourism, and other key sectors has been advancing to a new level.
The Iranian delegation was provided with detailed information on the economic reforms being implemented in New Uzbekistan, the favorable conditions created to support entrepreneurship, and the broad opportunities available for the development of foreign trade and industrial cooperation.
In particular, the parties exchanged views on expanding exports of Uzbek legumes to the Iranian market, as well as increasing supplies of silk products and agricultural fertilizers.
Mahmood Rokhsat, Director of Mahd-e-Binaloud Trade Co., highly praised the large-scale reforms and economic transformations taking place in Uzbekistan in recent years and expressed his interest in further expanding cooperation with Uzbek partners.
At the conclusion of the meeting, which was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, the parties agreed to continue dialogue aimed at strengthening trade, economic, and investment cooperation, implementing new joint initiatives, and further developing long-term partnership relations.
