On July 10 of this year, a meeting was held between representatives of BMB HOLDING and Bunyod Ibragimov, President of the Japan-Uzbekistan Trade House.
During the talks, the parties thoroughly discussed prospects for further developing trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and Japan, expanding partnerships between the private sectors of the two countries, implementing joint investment projects, and promoting Uzbek products in the Japanese market.
Major projects being implemented by BMB HOLDING in the fields of agribusiness, logistics, export and processing were presented to the participants. In addition, the parties confirmed their readiness to develop mutually beneficial cooperation with Japanese companies in the areas of agricultural technologies, the food industry, the green economy, and the production of high value-added products.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on the opportunities for supplying environmentally friendly agricultural products to the Japanese market. In particular, strong interest was expressed in the saffron, dried fruits, and saffron tea produced by BMB HOLDING, and a preliminary agreement was reached on the export of trial consignments of these products to Japan.
Following the meeting, which was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, the parties agreed to consistently expand practical cooperation, strengthen business ties, and jointly implement promising projects.
This dialogue marked an important step toward broadening BMB HOLDING’s cooperation with Japan and further enhancing the Holding’s export potential.
