On July 28 of this year, Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Founders Board of BMB HOLDING, held a meeting with Yu Jun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the beginning of the negotiations, it was emphasized that under the leadership of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, Uzbek-Chinese relations have reached a qualitatively new level in recent years, while comprehensive strategic partnership continues to strengthen and acquire new practical content.

During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail further development of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, expansion of export potential, deep processing of agricultural products, introduction of modern agricultural technologies, as well as improvement of transport and logistics infrastructure.

The parties noted that the export-oriented projects of BMB HOLDING, aimed at creating high value-added products, represent an important practical example of mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. It was emphasized that such initiatives not only contribute to increasing the competitiveness of Uzbek products in international markets, but also facilitate further expansion of industrial and trade cooperation between Uzbekistan and China.

In addition, Bekzod Mamatkulov, in his capacity as President of the Uzbekistan Futsal Federation, highlighted the important role of sports diplomacy in strengthening mutual trust and friendly relations between the two countries. He also put forward initiatives to develop cooperation in the field of futsal, including exchange of experience, training of specialists, and organization of joint events.

In turn, Mr. Yu Jun highly praised the export potential of BMB HOLDING and the initiatives implemented by the Holding, inviting its representatives to participate in professional development courses, training seminars, and experience exchange programs organized by the Government of the People’s Republic of China.

It was noted that these programs provide broad opportunities to study China’s advanced experience in corporate governance, agricultural technologies, innovation, foreign trade, and industrial cooperation.

The parties also discussed the organization of business visits by the BMB HOLDING delegation to Beijing, Jiangxi and Shandong provinces, as well as the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region by the end of this year. Within the framework of these visits, the parties plan to identify promising areas of cooperation in agriculture, investment, exports, logistics, high technologies, and sports, as well as develop mechanisms for long-term partnership.

Following the meeting, which was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, the parties reached an agreement to further expand practical cooperation within the framework of the Uzbekistan–China strategic partnership, strengthen trade and economic ties, and consistently implement mutually beneficial joint projects.
