Today, our country is securing its place in world markets with high-quality fruits and vegetables. It is gratifying that among the delicacies grown in our sunny land, even ordinary cabbage’s export potential is steadily increasing. Now this vegetable not only supplies our domestic markets but is also being exported to distant foreign countries.
These successes, of course, do not happen by themselves. At their core lies, first and foremost, the enormous work of our country’s farmers and their love for the land. Year after year, they are improving cabbage cultivation techniques, increasing varieties suitable for our climate conditions that yield high harvests, and most importantly – meet export requirements.
However, growing the crop is only part of the work. Delivering it with high quality to international markets requires an entire chain – a modern logistics system. It is at this point that the importance of advanced agrologistics complexes like BMB-NRC Agrologistics becomes clearly evident. Such centers cover the entire process from accepting cabbage harvests from the fields of enterprises like BMB AGRO in accordance with international standards to dispatching it to foreign buyers.
The complex has storage facilities with optimal temperatures of up to +5°C for preserving the quality of cabbage products. Here, products are carefully sorted and packaged in an appealing manner. Notably, all necessary customs and export documents are processed promptly on-site, based on the “Single Window” principle. This ensures that the product reaches its destination in a short time without compromising its quality and saves time for farmers and entrepreneurs.
Recently, another large batch of premium Uzbek cabbage was successfully exported to the Republic of Latvia.
The expansion of the export geography of such products, especially their entry into European Union markets, is an additional source of foreign currency income for our country’s economy, a new source of income for our farmers, and a powerful incentive for the further development of the agricultural sector.
