A MEETING WAS HELD WITH THE AMBASSADOR EXTRAORDINARY AND PLENIPOTENTIARY OF KAZAKHSTAN TO UZBEKISTAN

On April 12 of this year, a meeting took place at the head office of BMB HOLDING between the Chairman of the Holding’s Supervisory Board, Bekzod Mamatkulov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, Beibut Atamkulov.

At the beginning of the conversation, the Ambassador sincerely congratulated BMB HOLDING on its successful 8-year activity and acknowledged its significant achievements in the agro-industrial and export sectors.

The discussions centered on expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation and increasing the volume of agricultural exports. In particular, the following areas were discussed:

Expansion of mutual trade

The possibility of increasing the volume and expanding the range of deeply processed agricultural products (dried and shock-frozen vegetables, fruit purees, jams, etc.) supplied to the Kazakh market by the holding’s enterprises was considered.

Agro-industrial cooperation

Prospects for implementing joint projects with Kazakh partners were explored, using the example of the holding’s modern agro-cluster in Jizzakh region, including innovative projects such as saffron cultivation and processing. Issues of exchanging production experience and establishing new enterprises were also discussed.

Transport and logistics

An agreement was reached to maximize the use of the two countries’ geographical proximity and transit potential, as well as to establish efficient transport corridors for delivering Holding products through Kazakhstan to third-country markets (such as Russia, China, and the European Union).

It was also agreed to organize regular joint business forums, B2B meetings, trade missions, and exhibitions for representatives of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan’s business circles to further intensify economic cooperation.

Furthermore, accompanied by Mr. B. Mamatkulov, the Ambassador closely familiarized himself with the activities of the “Showroom,” guest house, media center, museum, and other facilities featuring samples of the Holding’s high value-added products.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed confidence that such open, friendly, and productive dialogues would create a solid foundation for elevating the multifaceted strategic partnership between fraternal Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to a qualitatively new level and implementing mutually beneficial projects.
