On April 21 of this year, a meeting took place at the Head Office of BMB HOLDING between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Holding, Bekzod Mamatkulov, and the President of AGROTEC HANDELS, Boris Kandov.
The meeting was dedicated to the logical continuation and practical implementation of the promising agreements reached during the productive visit of the delegation led by B. Mamatkulov to European Union countries, particularly Austria, in January of this year.
As a reminder, at the conclusion of negotiations held in Vienna, an agreement was reached to sign several important documents. These agreements provide for the establishment of a modern Austrian-Uzbek joint venture in Vienna, the creation of its legal framework, and the development of a mechanism for systematically supplying agricultural products grown and deeply processed in Uzbekistan, with high added value, not only to Austria but also to the entire European market.
Today’s agenda focused on accelerating the practical implementation of these agreements. Specifically, discussions centered on forming the management structure of the Austrian-Uzbek joint venture established in Vienna, clarifying the list of deeply processed products (saffron, canned fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, etc.) that meet European market requirements, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and creating a continuous and efficient logistics chain.
The successful implementation of this project will not only enhance BMB HOLDING‘s international prestige but will also significantly contribute to further increasing the export potential of Uzbekistan’s agro-industrial complex, securing a worthy place for high-quality Uzbek products in the European market, and creating new jobs.
