On April 29 of this year, a meeting was held at the BMB HOLDING Head Office with representatives of a delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan, led by Ardak Temirkhanovich Zebeshev, Deputy Governor of Kyzylorda Region, and Talgat Zhaparkhanovich Kozbekov, Deputy Governor of Turkestan Region.
The meeting noted that the traditionally friendly relations and cooperation based on mutual trust between the two neighboring countries – Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan – have been further developing in recent years. The parties exchanged views on deepening cooperation in trade-economic, transport-logistics, and investment spheres.
The main focus was on prospects for cooperation in the agricultural sector. Specifically, discussions were held on increasing the supply of export-oriented agricultural products grown by the Holding to the Kazakh market and cooperation in the distribution of these products.
The Kazakh side, in turn, expressed great interest in strengthening interregional ties, establishing joint ventures in the agro-industrial sector, developing logistics infrastructure, and diversifying bilateral trade.
At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached to establish an exchange of trade missions and further increase the volume of trade.
