On June 9 of this year, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING, Bekzod Mamatkulov, received the President of HT HOLDING, Roberto Tucci, who arrived to participate in the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum.

During the negotiations, the parties exchanged views on further expanding saffron plantation areas, increasing the production volume of high-quality saffron raw materials and products made from it, broadening the geography of product exports, and enhancing export potential.

Also, within the framework of the dialogue, B. Mamatkulov and R. Tucci specifically discussed the possibilities of establishing mutual cooperation in creating greenhouse complexes based on modern, innovative technologies to enhance the agro-industrial potential of our country and ensure food security, as well as exchanging advanced international experience in this area.

In particular, they thoroughly examined prospective plans for implementing a mutually beneficial and strategically important investment project in collaboration with the prestigious Swiss company Stadler.

The parties acknowledged the importance of the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum in fully revealing Uzbekistan’s investment potential and implementing large mutually beneficial investment projects through direct dialogue with the world’s largest investors.

During the meeting, Mr. Roberto Tucci familiarized himself with the exhibits of the showroom and museum, which featured samples of saffron and food products with high added value, produced by enterprises of the Holding system and processed using the latest technologies. He expressed satisfaction with the saffron cultivation and processing project, which holds a worthy place in Italian-Uzbek cooperation.

It should be noted that the parties will jointly participate in the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum.
