On June 13, 2025, a significant business meeting took place between Khayrullо Nabijonov, Deputy General Director of BMB HOLDING for Foreign Economic Relations and Investments, and Mr. Johnny Bakos, General Director of the German company Uz Trade House Germany. During the constructive dialogue, the parties discussed the prospects for exporting Uzbek saffron to the Federal Republic of Germany. Representatives of the German company expressed their willingness to support the promotion of this unique product on the European market, highlighting its competitive advantages and the growing demand among EU consumers.
In addition to saffron, the German side showed interest in other high-quality BMB HOLDING products, including freeze-dried and dried fruits and vegetables, tomato paste, apple puree, and fruit jams. These products, with strong export potential, were proposed for detailed consideration with a view to possible long-term contracts.
A separate part of the meeting focused on investment in the holding’s production facilities. In particular, Uz Trade House Germany representatives expressed readiness to explore the possibility of attracting German capital for the development and expansion of BMB HOLDING’s enterprises, especially in the areas of agro-processing and export logistics.
This meeting marked another step toward strengthening BMB HOLDING’s international partnerships with leading European companies and reaffirms the holding’s strategic commitment to innovation, quality, and export.
