On October 20, 2025, the BMB HOLDING delegation, headed by Bekzod Mamatkulov, began its working visit across European countries. The first meetings with European business leaders took place in Vienna, Austria.

In recent years, trade and economic relations between Austria and Uzbekistan have been steadily developing and gaining new momentum. One of the most vivid examples of this cooperation is the effective partnership between BMB HOLDING and the Austrian company AGROTEC GMBH.

Thanks to the mutual trust established between Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING, and Boris Kandov, President of AGROTEC GMBH, a number of joint projects have been successfully implemented.

Today, with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Austria, a meeting was held during which an important agreement was signed to establish the Austrian–Uzbek joint venture “AGROINVEST.”

The main purpose of this joint venture is to attract foreign investment aimed at developing the national economy, to organize the export of deeply processed agricultural products, as well as natural saffron, a medicinal plant, and its derivatives under the BMB Za’faron brand to the markets of the European Union through Austria. It will also facilitate the import of high-demand European goods into Uzbekistan.

In turn, Bekzod Mamatkulov and Boris Kandov expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation between AGROTEC GMBH and BMB HOLDING, jointly implement new large-scale investment projects, and build a long-term partnership in the field of agricultural processing and export.

This new project will serve as an important foundation for further strengthening trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Austria, expanding the scope of cooperation, and promoting high-quality Uzbek products to European markets.
