Under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, large-scale reforms are being implemented in the country aimed at the comprehensive modernization of agriculture, strengthening food security, and promoting national products in global markets.
The acquisition by BMB AGRO, a company within the BMB HOLDING system, of the international FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management System certification represents a practical outcome of these ongoing reforms.
Obtaining the FSSC 22000 certification technically confirms that all stages of the production and processing chain comply with international regulatory requirements. This, in turn, demonstrates the introduction of modern management systems into the company’s operations, as well as the elevation of production culture and corporate responsibility to a qualitatively new level.
As widely recognized, FSSC 22000 is a prestigious, globally acknowledged certification approved by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Its implementation confirms the effective functioning of mechanisms for the systematic identification, assessment, and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards throughout production processes.
The presence of this certification ensures that BMB AGRO’s products meet the stringent phytosanitary and safety requirements of the United States and European Union markets, while also establishing a solid legal foundation for expanding export geography and entering into long-term, sustainable partnerships with international counterparts.
Most importantly, the adoption of such international standards by domestic enterprises contributes to strengthening Uzbekistan’s food security, enhancing the competitiveness of national agricultural products, and further increasing the country’s reputation as a reliable agricultural exporter.
