On 17 January of the current year, a meeting was held between Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Founders board of BMB HOLDING, and Beibut Atamkulov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the beginning of the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the fact that political and economic relations between the two countries have been steadily strengthening in recent years.
At the same time, it was emphasized that the mutual high-level visits carried out by the Presidents of the two countries have contributed to elevating bilateral relations based on mutual trust and strategic partnership-to a qualitatively new level. It was also noted that, as a result of this political dialogue, trade and economic relations between the business communities of the two brotherly states are demonstrating dynamic growth.
During the negotiations, the parties comprehensively discussed issues related to expanding the volume of exports to the Kazakhstani market of products grown and deeply processed by enterprises within the BMB HOLDING system.
In particular, views were exchanged on plans to establish the delivery of fruits and vegetables, as well as deeply processed agricultural products, to Kazakhstani consumers on a made-to-order basis.
As noted, thanks to agreements reached between the relevant ministries and agencies of the two countries, as well as the establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation with major enterprises and organizations, goods worth more than USD 40 million were exported to the markets of Kazakhstan in 2025 alone.
It was particularly emphasized that the measures being implemented in this area, including the working visit of the BMB HOLDING management to the Republic of Kazakhstan scheduled for the first ten days of April this year, will contribute to further strengthening practical cooperation between the business communities of the brotherly states.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further expand trade and economic relations and to consistently develop investment cooperation, as well as to continue implementing practical measures aimed at significantly increasing, in 2026, the volume of supplies to the Republic of Kazakhstan of export-oriented products grown and deeply processed in our country.
