On January 27 of this year, the Chairman of the Founders Board of BMB HOLDING, Bekzod Mamatkulov, departed for Vienna, the capital of Austria. As part of a working visit planned across several European countries, the founder of the Holding intends to hold a series of meetings with international partners aimed at further expanding trade and economic relations, as well as launching promising joint investment projects.
Today, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Austria, negotiations were held in Vienna between the Chairman of the Founders Board of BMB HOLDING, Bekzod Mamatkulov, and the President of AGROTEC GMBH, the Holding’s long-standing business partner, Boris Kandov.
During the talks, the parties expressed satisfaction with the steady development of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Austria, noting that the volume of mutual trade between the two countries has been consistently increasing year by year.
Particular attention was paid to the effective utilization of the potential and further improvement of the activities of AGROINVEST, the Austrian-Uzbek joint venture established within the framework of cooperation between BMB HOLDING and AGROTEC GMBH.
Specifically, the parties discussed mechanisms for implementing efficient solutions to ensure the prompt supply of agricultural products grown and deeply processed by the Holding’s enterprises to European markets in compliance with high quality standards.
Following the negotiations, which were held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, the parties agreed on the systematic enhancement of the activities of the joint venture AGROINVEST, as well as on the implementation of new joint investment projects in the agricultural sector in the near future within the territory of our country.
At the conclusion of the negotiations, with the aim of further developing export-import cooperation between BMB HOLDING and AGROTEC GMBH, an investment agreement with a total value of 15 million euro was signed.
