On January 30 of this year, a meeting was held between Anvar Muminov, Director of the International Relations Department of BMB HOLDING, and Georgiy Voevoda, Trade and Economic Adviser of the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, Mr. Voevoda was thoroughly briefed on the activities of the enterprises operating within the structure of BMB HOLDING, which is steadily expanding its presence in European markets, as well as on a number of joint investment projects currently being implemented with the participation of foreign partners.
In addition, the parties discussed issues related to the regular export of various types of agricultural products to the Latvian market, grown and deeply processed by enterprises within the Holding’s structure.
As part of the negotiations, an initiative was proposed to establish a logistics and trade hub in one of Latvia’s free economic zones. The prospects for exporting agricultural products manufactured in Uzbekistan to the markets of the European Union through this hub were also a key focus of the discussions.
Following the meeting, which took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the parties confirmed their readiness to facilitate the establishment of contacts with interested companies operating in Latvia, as well as to provide comprehensive support in promoting their products on the Uzbek market.
