On February 16 of this year, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Walid Fouque, during his visit to the Jizzakh region, became closely acquainted with the operations of BMB-NRC Agrologistics and BMB AGRO PLUS, enterprises operating under the umbrella of BMB HOLDING.
During the meeting between Aziz Mamatkulov, Member of the Founders Board of Holding, and Ambassador Walid Fouque, the parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the agro-industrial sector, agricultural processing, and the development of high value-added production. The sides noted with satisfaction that BMB HOLDING enterprises have implemented production practices in compliance with international food safety standards, creating a solid foundation for increasing export volumes to European markets, including France.
The distinguished guest expressed particular interest in the modern agrologistics system introduced at the enterprises, as well as in the processes of sorting, storage, and packaging carried out in accordance with international standards. Special attention was given to the laboratory meeting international requirements, along with the product quality control and pre-export certification systems.
At the conclusion of the visit, Ambassador Fouque highlighted the strong potential of the ongoing economic reforms in the Jizzakh region, the dynamism of the private sector, and the application of innovative approaches. He emphasized the importance of further deepening practical cooperation between the two countries, supporting new investment initiatives, and strengthening direct ties between business communities.
