On April 29 of the current year, another round of negotiations took place in the capital between Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Founders Board of BMB HOLDING, and Roberto Tucci, President of HT HOLDING (Italy).

During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the steady development and strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation established in recent years.

The discussions focused on the current status of a major investment project being implemented in the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region, aimed at the cultivation, processing, and export of saffron.

As emphasized, in line with the planned targets, large-scale efforts are underway to expand saffron plantation areas to 2,000 hectares by the end of 2027. This is expected to contribute to increasing export volumes and broadening the geography of supplies to international markets.

In addition, the parties explored opportunities for implementing new projects in other sectors of the economy. In particular, discussions covered the establishment of modern greenhouse complexes in agriculture based on European standards, as well as the introduction of advanced and highly efficient Italian technologies into the country’s industrial sector.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to accelerate the promotion of BMB Za’faron products in international markets and to begin the practical implementation of the initiatives discussed.
