As previously reported, the prestigious international investment summit SelectUSA is being held in the United States. This major global platform brings together investors, leading companies, financial institutions, and government representatives from around the world, fostering new business connections and expanding strategic cooperation.
On May 4, a plenary session and the official opening ceremony of the exhibition took place as part of the summit. The event was attended by the Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, as well as the U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan, Jonathan Henick.
U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick delivered a welcome address to the participants. In his remarks, he emphasized the openness of the U.S. economic policy, the favorable conditions being created for foreign investors, and new investment opportunities. Mr. Lutnick also noted that the evolving favorable legal and institutional environment for foreign investors is a key factor in the successful implementation of new projects.
During the exhibition’s opening ceremony, BMB HOLDING presented its high value-added products to guests, including saffron, as well as dried and deeply processed fruit and vegetable products.
The environmental sustainability of the holding’s products, their compliance with international standards, the company’s strategy to expand its export geography, and its modern processing technologies generated significant interest among attendees.
In addition, during a meeting between Howard Lutnick and Chairman of the Founders Board of Holding, Bekzod Mamatkulov, the steady advancement of the BMB HOLDING brand into the U.S. market was particularly noted. The parties also exchanged views on further increasing export potential, diversifying the product range, and strengthening bilateral trade and economic relations. In particular, it was emphasized that BMB Za’faron products are highly valued in the United States and hold the international USDA Organic certification, confirming their quality, safety, and full compliance with environmental standards.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the founder of Holding, Bekzod Mamatkulov, presented the U.S. Secretary of Commerce with products of the national BMB Za’faron brand.
