On June 15 of this year, a meeting was held between Khayrulla Nabijonov, Deputy General Director of BMB HOLDING, and Pavlo Stergard, Head of MENA, Türkiye, and Central Asia at the French state investment bank Bpifrance, accompanied by his advisor, Amandine Saint Loup.
During the meeting, the guests were provided with detailed information about the projects being implemented by BMB HOLDING in the fields of exports, agro-industry, construction, and investments, as well as the Holding’s efforts to expand international cooperation and strengthen its investment potential.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of enhancing corporate governance and ensuring financial transparency within the Holding.
The parties also discussed the phased transition of the Holding’s enterprises to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the development of cooperation with international financial institutions, and the attraction of foreign investments and financial resources for the implementation of large-scale projects.
As noted during the meeting, IFRS has already been successfully implemented at BMB HIGH-TECH and BMB AGRO, companies operating within the structure of BMB HOLDING. This experience is now being gradually extended to other enterprises of the Holding. Such measures contribute to greater financial transparency, improved corporate governance, and stronger cooperation with international financial institutions and investors.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties exchanged views on promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation and agreed to further strengthen their partnership.
