On 8 July, Khayrulla Nabijonov, Deputy General Director of BMB HOLDING, held a videoconference with Ahmad Hussein Al Khalaf, representative of Al Khalaf Group, one of Qatar’s leading food importers and distributors, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the State of Qatar.
During the talks, the parties thoroughly discussed the expansion of supplies of high-quality Uzbek agricultural and food products to the Qatari market, as well as the development of new avenues of trade and economic cooperation. Particular attention was given to prospects for collaboration in agribusiness, foreign trade, and logistics.
The online meeting also featured a detailed presentation on the economic reforms being implemented in New Uzbekistan, the favorable conditions created to support entrepreneurship, and BMB HOLDING’s major projects in agribusiness, the food industry, export-import operations, tourism, and services.
For their part, the representatives of Al Khalaf Group highly praised the quality, environmental sustainability, and competitiveness of Uzbek products, expressing strong interest in importing fresh and processed food products, as well as other categories of goods.
At the conclusion of the constructive online discussions, the parties identified priority areas for further practical cooperation.
